Harris & Co was born on 1st September 1995, having bought out the Entwistle Green Estate Agency who were withdrawing from the town. Fleetwood born & bred owner and principal Stuart Harris planned and implemented straight forward policies that have proved successful, allowing the business to go from strength to strength - adding Kelly Harris to its number in 1998. The office expanded further with the lettings department doubling in size. The potential for financial services was a continued request from vendors and purchasers alike. This was where independence was extremely important to the company and hence Wayne Brewer joined the company. The increase in business required further recruitment in the form of Carole-Anne Hirst who again strengthened the team and provided the necessary drive for expansion. With the residential department increasing in size year on year, as has the letting department in residential and commercial management, with a greater choice of financial advice in all areas on offer, specialising in this town of Fleetwood. The company has made its mark in the fabric of the local community and has shown its appreciation by supporting local charities including football teams (junior and senior clubs), netball teams, musical events, cricket clubs and rugby clubs in the form of sponsorship over the past decade.
